Past Day is a Saint Petersburg-based nostalgic music project that creaters an atmospheric sound that has a nostalgic and dreamy touch.
This can be found on “Friends”, the self-titled opening track to their 2023 album, an instrumental blend of new wave and post punk that captures a wave of melancholy and a cinematic range of emotions. There’s a ton of influences from classics of the genre, with a steady groovy nature that shines through in a way that the band says is influence by The Cure’s lighter songs.
