Valley Porno People – “The Letter”

Los Angeles indie rock outfit Valley Porno People recently released a split EP with checkedout that was released on October 16 via Medium Good Records.

“The Letter” is the opening cut of the EP, dipping into the well of 90s indie rock and shoegaze. The track hums along with an airy dreamlike quality that has a blissful nature and floaty vocal performance that channels bands like Yo La Tengo. That is, until its ampy up the fuzzy goodness and blurs into the lane of bands like Sonic Youth with a rip-roaring garage rock sound that is punchy and hard hitting.
