Ramonda Hammer – “Hush Money”

Los Angeles indie rockers Ramonda Hammer are preparing for the release of their new EP, Wake Up, Play Nice, which will come out on October 24.

Ahead of its release they have shared single “Hush Money”, a track that captures a blend of early 2000s emo punk with a pummeling dark post punk energy. Big guitar work blends perfectly with some swirling reverb drenched guitars and powerhouse vocals that hit with a ton of raw passion and energy that has a nostalgic energy that hits all the right notes.

Speaking on the track, the band’s Devin Davis adds:

“Hush Money” calls out how quickly loyalty and love can collapse under ego. It’s a song about greed, betrayal, and the baffling silence that follows when things get messy.
