Melting Plants is the guitar-based project from musician Jnatra who taps into a blend of hypnotic shoegaze on his latest release, “After Hours”, a preview of an upcoming new EP.
The track stems from the reality of his daily routine, and is delivered in a mesmerizing blissful blend of shoegaze and indie rock with angular sharp guitar work, hushed vocals, and tight production which bridges the gap and connects all the elements together in a way that is completely hypnotic that calls to mind the likes of DIIV and legends of the 90s shoegaze era.
Speaking on the track, Jnatra adds:
“After Hours” came from the reality of my routine: running my company by day, being present with my wife and kids in the evening, and then heading back into the studio when everyone is asleep, late at night to create. This was the first track I fully wrote, sang, produced, mixed and mastered for Melting Plants. EP coming soon.
