Lyfe Indoors is a solo project that draws from the seams of atmosphere and memory, pulling from pre-2000s dream-pop and new wave influences.
They’ve recently returned with their latest single “Texas Tea”, a song about “memory, loss, and the rituals we repeat to stay human.”
The track is a hazy lucid dream with a retro-fitted nature that is crafted with a warm sense of nostalgia that is emotive and sincere. It’s use of electronics adds a cinematic sense of wonder that adds a sense of mystique.
Speaking on the track they add:
Written after a long night that never really ended, the song follows Sancho, part friend and part phantom, through a surreal landscape where time loops and shadows talk back.
