Happy Dust Gang are a new band from London made up of Laura Paul and Erin, who have recently shared their latest single “Money.”
The track is about the way money drives everything, and it delivers its message with a blend of raw post punk and garage rock with a bit of The Rolling Stones. There’s a sense of urgency and power to it that features some infectious hooks but also deliver an always timely message about the relentless grip of consumerism.
Speaking on “Money”, the band adds:
“We wanted ‘Money’ to feel like a punch you didn’t see coming. It’s about the way money drives everything—love, status, survival—but it’s also a middle finger to that cycle. We’re screaming what everyone’s thinking.”
