Rochester’s Beloved Flour City Station Rebrands to “FLOWR”

After over a decade of service as one of Rochester’s staple venues for local music and culture, Flour City Station is shifting gears and becoming “FLOWR,” the city’s first non-alcoholic music café, functional beverage bar, hemp shop, local art hub, and full dining experience all in one.

Flour City Station has been known since 2014 as a home for the Rochester music community. The location has housed everything from album releases to special celebrations for artists, and the stage has seen every genre from jam and rock to indie and funk.

Before 170 East Avenue in Rochester was Flour City Station, it spent another impressive tenure as Milestones. The owners of Flour City Station/soon-to-be FLOWR acknowledge the history and impact of the venue in the Rochester music scene, and they have every intention of doing that legacy justice with this next venture.

FLOWR

The owners admit that due to unfortunate timing, they couldn’t give Flour City Station the farewell party they feel it deserves, so in lieu of that, they’ll be treating fans to a variety of special treats. Effective immediately, shows are now open to all ages, with all current scheduled shows continuing through the end of the year. On top of that, new mocktails, functional non-alcoholic drinks, and food items will be debuted in the coming months as the FLOWR menu is built. The full grand opening of FLOWR is scheduled for early 2026.

The team at Flour City Station assures fans that they will all remain on board for FLOWR and keep bringing their same spirit of Rochester pride as the business expands in this new direction. They promise to always remember where they and the venue came from, and they thank their patrons for all of the support over the years.
