Anthem Music Publishing Secures Mark Holman’s Catalog

When your fingerprints are on some of country’s biggest bangers and your songs have soundtracked Disney films, you know you’ve carved out a legacy worth celebrating. That’s exactly the case with GRAMMY-nominated songwriter and producer Mark Holman, whose catalog has just been snapped up by Anthem Music Publishing.

Holman, a small-town kid from Ewing, Illinois, has a knack for making songs that hit big and cut deep, pairing heartfelt storytelling with hooks that go down smooth on radio. His résumé is stacked with No. 1s, including:

And if that weren’t enough, Holman helped shape Dangerous: The Double Album—Morgan Wallen’s chart-devouring project—penning “Neon Eyes,” “Me On Whiskey,” and “Whatcha Think of Country Now.”

Anthem VP Noah Dewey called the deal a “full circle moment,” adding: “His undeniable talent shows through in every song in this catalog. Anthem is honored to be trusted with this outstanding body of work.”

Holman, for his part, kept it humble: “I’m really excited these songs have found a home and I’m very grateful to Noah and the Anthem team. Anthem has always been a champion for music and songwriters and Noah is one of the best to do it.”

Beyond country radio, Holman has written for heavy-hitters like Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett, Blake Shelton, and even Post Malone. His early career was equally eclectic—writing hard-hitting Christian rock anthems like “Feed the Machine” by RED, before landing placements on American Idol, The Biggest Loser, and Disney’s Planes.

In short: if you’ve tuned into country radio in the last decade, chances are you’ve been singing along to a Mark Holman song without even knowing it. Now, with Anthem behind the catalog, those songs aren’t just hits, they’re part of a legacy that keeps shaping country’s future.
